My amazing friend Charlie’s kidneys are failing. He needs someone to donate a kidney to save his life.  He is one of the best people I know and I want to help him stay on the planet. If we join together to find someone to give Charlie a kidney, we can save the life of my remarkable friend.  It’s easy to do. Here’s how we can make it happen:

  • First by considering donating a kidney. Since we’re all born with two kidneys and need only one to live a full, healthy life, donating our extra kidney could save Charlie.

You’ll find essential info here about how the process works, a little about Charlie, and how to register to explore what donation involves and if you are eligible. (The process is entirely confidential, with no obligation, and you’ll have your own health advocate whose priority is your well-being.)
  • You can also help save Charlie’s life by sharing this article or the email (below) with everyone you know — your family, friends, work colleagues, people you worship with, and social media connections.

Sending out an email blast and posting on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc are simple steps we can all do that could yield a mighty impact for Charlie. Casting a wide net will broaden his chances of finding a donor. Think of it as “six degrees of separation” — just six handshakes — between Charlie and his donor.

There’s a living kidney donor out there for Charlie. Let’s find that person. Let’s save Charlie Allenson’s life.

My friend Charlie Allenson’s kidneys are failing. He needs to find someone to donate a kidney to save his life.

Charlie is loving, kind, and always volunteering to help others. He gives so much of himself in so many ways with never a thought of getting anything in return.
